A common question when interview is, "What should I wear?" The outfit in the interview is generally seen as the first impression. Many employers make judgments based on attire and presentation. Social psychologist researchers have conducted numerous studies that show luxury brands show higher status but can backfire if employers are looking for intangibles of "warmth".

More and more employers are moving to artificial intelligence (AI) to review and scan resumes. This is discouraging when applicants spend hours online researching companies, polishing their resume to be "weeded out by robots. There are many ways to beat the robots such as using relevant resume titles, and tailoring the choice of words to meet the company requirements. Veterans transitioning out of the military need to first talk with their Facility Security Officer (FSO) and/or Security Manager about the individual personnel clearance (PCL). Once, their clearance level has been validated, it is recommended to gather the dates for Re-investigation for tracking purposes.
Once validated it is recommended to post a resume on the below websites. These websites are used by industry organizations to recruit cleared personnel.
